GLD at Paris Fashion Week: Inside the Zeb Powell Dinner at Maxim's de Paris

GLD x Zeb Powell Takeover Paris Fashion Week

GLD pulled up to Paris for the hottest week in fashion. Literally. We took a flight across the Atlantic for the Spring/Summer 2027 Paris Fashion Week, during the hottest week the city’s ever seen, and we brought some new ice with us. We linked up with cultural icon, trailblazer, and professional American snowboarder Zeb Powell to announce our upcoming collaboration and gift attendees custom pieces. GLD teamed up with Zeb to host an exclusive dinner party at the legendary restaurant Maxim's de Paris, bringing together athletes, artists, creators, and more to celebrate the special moment. Here’s how it went down.

The Stars Were in Attendance

GLD brings out the biggest names across fashion, music, sports, and art, and the Paris Fashion Week event was the perfect reflection of that. The exclusive dinner brought together prominent figures from across the world in every industry for the special moment. Christian Johnston, GLD’s visionary Founder and CEO, was in the building to kick off the collaboration along with X Games gold medalist Zeb Powell. New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara came through to show some love as well as professional snowboarder Niels Schack. Contemporary American artist Jahlil Nzinga and Canadian rapper Killy also pulled up to celebrate the evening at Maxim’s de Paris. Guests enjoyed tailored cocktails with GLD-engraved ice cubes while Brick Howze, surfer and founder of Ebony Beach Club, Dylan Ali, Drewbyrd, and Techh After Dark held down the 1’s and 2’s to provide the soundtrack for the evening.

 

The Custom Chains: 1-of-1 Zeb Powell Pieces for Guests

This isn’t the first time GLD has cooked something up for Zeb Powell. Back in January, GLD created the custom medals for the X Games in Aspen and gifted Zeb a custom 1-of-1 belt buckle featuring an iced-out silhouette of him snowboarding. So for Paris Fashion Week, GLD’s design team created a custom chain and pendant for attendees. The custom pieces feature a silhouette of Zeb in action and showcase his signature riding style. Every star in attendance loved the custom pieces so much that they threw them on right away to rock for the night.
