GLD offers multiple tiers of gold jewelry. Our core collection features 18K gold plated pieces over a stainless steel or brass base, designed for durability and everyday wear. For customers who want solid gold, our GLD Premium line offers 10K and 14K solid gold chains, pendants, and bracelets. We also offer premium vermeil (sterling silver with thick gold plating) and moissanite options. Every product page clearly states the material composition.

Are GLD chains real or fake?

All GLD chains use real gold in their construction. Our standard collection uses 18K gold plating with a thick layer of genuine gold bonded to a durable base metal. Our Solid Gold collection uses 10K or 14K solid gold throughout. Every chain is backed by our Lifetime Guarantee, which covers defects in craftsmanship and damage from normal wear.

Does GLD use real diamonds?

GLD uses lab-created diamonds and moissanite in our iced-out and premium jewelry lines. Lab diamonds have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds. Our GLD Premium moissanite collection offers exceptional brilliance at a more accessible price point. Each product listing specifies exactly which stones are used.

What is GLD's return policy?

GLD offers a 14-day return and exchange policy. Items must be unworn and in original packaging. Returns are free for U.S. customers. Exchanges can be initiated through our returns portal at gld.com. Custom and personalized items are final sale. All non-custom jewelry is also covered by our Lifetime Guarantee.

What is GLD's Lifetime Guarantee?

This guarantee covers tarnishing, breakage from normal wear, and manufacturing defects. Contact our customer service team to initiate a warranty claim.
