Forme Prive - Pilates and Ballet Jewelry
Forme Prive is a celebration of movement through every stage of life. Inspired by GLD Director of Design Emily Johnston’s journey, the collection traces back to her years spent practicing ballet and pointe and her introduction to Pilates while spending time in Paris. Drawing its name from the French words for “private” and “form,” Forme Prive reflects her experiences through a more delicate expression of GLD.
Every detail of the collection tells a chapter of that story. The Iced Pilates Slipper pays tribute to Emily’s background in ballet, while other pieces draw inspiration from her daily Pilates practice. The collection brings those influences to life through delicate silhouettes of chains, bracelets, anklets, pendants, and more that are designed to move with you. Forme Prive was designed for women moving through their journeys, relentlessly pushing themselves to grow and become the best versions of who they are. That looks different for everyone, but you deserve to shine through every moment.
To bring the collection to life, we took over Emily’s local Pilates studio, where she practices daily, and brought together women from the wellness community to move, connect, and celebrate Forme Prive’s release. A collection inspired by one woman’s story became a celebration of all the different ways we continue to move forward.
