We charge a 250 USD consultation fee which is applied in full toward the cost of the piece if you move forward to build it. GLD receives hundreds of custom requests and this allows us to separate curious people from those that are intent to craft their custom piece.

Upon paying the consultation fee, you will instantly be paired with a custom jewelry expert who will work with you to create specifications for your custom piece. Upon completion of the specifications, the jewelry expert will provide you with a quote for the finished product and arrange deposit and final pricing.

The minimum order for custom pieces starts at $2,000. However, the final price will be determined by the specific item you get. Changing the size and/or specifications will result in a change in the price for the item. $2,000 represents the minimum order.

The consultation fee allows our jewelry experts to take their time and fully focus on making you the best custom piece specifically to your specifications. This fee will be deducted from the order, so it serves as a deposit. This fee is non refundable. In order to start on the custom order, a 50% deposit will be required once the final item cost is finalized.

The time of the custom process varies depending on how many changes are required throughout the design phase. It can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, so please be patient. It will be worth the wait! You will be kept up to date on the project throughout. Your personal CS rep will provide you with visual updates throughout the process.

We work primarily with 10-24k solid gold (Yellow, White, and Rose Gold). We also can work with Rhodium, Sterling Silver, and Platinum.

We also work with real diamonds ranging from Si2-VVS1. Providing us with the type of diamonds you are looking to use or a budget can be helpful to us in identifying which diamonds will be right for you.

Yes, all gold will meet the requirements of the jewelry vigilance committee and the Federal Trade Commission. All 10-24k gold is tested before leaving our facilities.

Yes, we are able to make solid gold options to fit your custom request. Any solid gold item can be made in different length, width, or specification.

There are NO returns/exchanges on GLD's Customized Jewelry. All Customized Jewelry is guaranteed under our 30-Day Quality Guarantee. This policy entitles you to a free, one-time repair of your piece in the event that you experience any defects in craftsmanship or breakage due to manufacturing defects. This guarantee will be voided immediately in the event that user damage is detected (ie: water damage, accidental breakage, missing stones, etc.). Once the 30-day guarantee has expired, a $99 USD Repair Fee will be charged for all future repairable product issues.
