GLD x IDK New York: How We Shut Down the Lower East Side for NYFW 2026

To kick off New York Fashion Week 2026, GLD and Cjay Syre’s IDK New York linked up for a pop-up in the Lower East Side of Manhattan that shut the whole block down. The line went down Delancey Street and wrapped all the way around the corner for the debut of the new exclusive capsule collaboration between two culture-defining brands. We had some of the biggest names across music, fashion, and culture pull up to show us some love as we opened up the doors to Bowery Showroom for one of the most memorable experiences in the towns for Fashion Week.

 

GLD x IDK New York: The Exclusive Capsule Collection

Cjay Syre is a St. Louis native turned New York creative who has made his mark as one of fashion’s leading tastemakers through the world he’s built around IDK New York. The collaboration brings together Cjay and GLD founder Christian Johnston, two former D1 athletes who turned their ambitions beyond the game into careers built on their own terms.

The collection reimagines the IDK NY signature question mark motif across iced and polished pieces made by GLD. Each piece blends Cjay’s distinct visual language with GLD’s premium craftsmanship to create a collection rooted in individuality, curiosity, and carving your own path.

The Pop-Up at the Bowery Showroom

The new drop was brought to life through an unforgettable experience held at the Bowery Showroom in the Lower East Side. In true GLD fashion, we went all out with an open bar that featured our signature “GLD Water” drink and another named “The Question Mark” for the vibes. A few of the notable guests in the building included icons like Emory Jones, streamer Braeden Carter, fashion influencer Tyty, and more.
The food (which was bussin’ btw) was made by SHMACKWICH. DJ Dylan Ali killed it on the 1’s and 2’s, providing the sounds for the memorable night where people stayed all the way through the end. And it’s easy to just say the event was memorable, but it truly was. People who copped pieces were also able to get tattooed by Bayla, which is something they’ll not only remember but wear forever. The lines wrapped around the corner and went down the block with people trying to catch a vibe and grab a piece of the new collection.
