The Jesse Narro GLD Story

What’s Your GLD Story?

I remember when I was just 19 years old, Young Thug was my favorite artist at the time. The drip, the flows, the shininessI wanted that. I didn't know what to look for or anything, so I just looked up gold jewelry. But the funny thing was, I forgot to add the "o" in gold, so you guys popped up.

It felt like it was meant to be, so I bought from you guys. I looked through y’all’s catalog and I was stuck between the double layered princess cut bracelet and the tennis bracelet, so I just got both of them. Seven years later, I still got those bracelets and many more pieces added to the collection from gifts to self-treatment to just splurging. You guys have been my go-to for the past seven years and will continue to be my jeweler for my entire life. I love GLD. It's made people I love smile because of the quality of y’all’s jewelry. Love.

What were you looking for when you first found us?

I was looking for a tennis bracelet.

What was the moment you first put both bracelets on at 19—where did you wear them first?

I first wore my bracelets at my cousin's wedding. They caught everyone’s attention, even my cousin's husband, and he’s a big fan of jewelry.

Which pieces have you gifted? To whom? What did they say?

I gifted my sisters the Rope Chain with the Micro Diamond Cross for Christmas, my mom the 5 or 6 mm Diamond Stud Earrings for Mother’s Day, and my girlfriend got the Tennis Chain and the Heart Pendant for her birthday. Their reactions were tears because they really wanted what I got them. They could not stop shining the flash on their pieces lol. Thank you guys so much for the consistency of quality and quick customer service. You guys are awesome!

The Young Thug song I was playing on repeat was “Power.” When I put y’all’s jewelry on, I felt like I was “HIM” lol.

What’s your favorite GLD piece?

My all-time favorite piece was the Diamond Cross Hoop Earrings.
